Katarina Myers: Lupe, Gabby and I looked around the campus at lunch for places we could put the garden at. We haven’t decided on one yet. We started researching different plants that are native to California.

10/05/17

Katarina Myers: We met at Gabby’s house to discuss what plants to put in our garden and took pictures of native plants in the neighborhood to further our research.

Gabriella Lasserre: I purchased the list of California native plants. My purchase included; Salvia; Sea Lavender (limonium perezii); carmel creeper (ceanothus griseus horizontalis); Frosty Blue Wild Lilac (Ceanothus frosty blue)

Katarina Myers: We stayed after school to plant our garden in the spot across from the hummingbird garden. We configured the plants so that the ones that would spread up to ten feet, the caramel creeper and the frosty blue lilac, would have lots of room to grow.
